Cost-effective and permanent treatment of insulating materials or to low-resistance materials.
Application:
Wherever insulating or poorly conductive materials need to be electrically dissipative, for example plastic surfaces, -container, -bins, -boards, etc.
Furthermore, materials such as steel, aluminum, etc. can also be treated to ensure a "gentle discharge" (for some materials a primer is necessary).
Properties:
The AstraStat ESD Typ S is a solvent based 2 components polyurethane spray coat and can be applied on different, sometimes difficult to be coated, substrates such as metal, laminate, wood, plastic, PVC, GRP, etc. This coating with a surface resistance of <3,5E7Ω is highly resistant to abrasion and chemicals. The electrical properties are permanent and independent of humidity and temperature.
The spray nozzle produces a wide and extremely finely atomized spray to ensure even paint application.
Once activated, the can content can be applied for about 5 hours.
Yield (approximate value): 1-2m²/400ml
Standard colors: grey ~RAL 7035, pigeon blue ~RAL 5014, red ~RAL 3000 and black ~RAL 9005
In addition to the standard shades, most of the colors can be made in the approx. RAL tones (up to a quantity of 36 cans). Slight color deviations are due to the coloration of the conductive pigment. Not available are: transparent, white, yellow, louminous and signal colors.
