The AstraStat ESD spray paint is especially for the areas of electronics production, assembling, chemistry and pyrotechnics (explosion protection). This PU coating is suitable for clean rooms (Class ISO 5). Further benefits are a good resistance to chemicals and a high abrasion resistance.

Application:
The AstraStat ESD Type B is always used when higher demands are placed on the electrical properties.

for the treatment of insulating or poorly conductive materials such as plastic, wood, etc.
to treat highly conductive materials such as steel or aluminum to ensure a "gentle discharge" (e.g. laboratory benches, chairs, trolleys, steel cabinets, etc.).

Properties:
The AstraStat ESD type B is a solvent based 2 components polyurethane coat and can be applied on different, sometimes difficult to be coated, substrates such as metal, laminate, wood, plastic, PVC, GRP, etc. This coating with a surface resistance of <3,5E7Ω according to IEC 61340-2-3 is highly resistant to abrasion and chemicals. The electrical properties are permanent and independent of humidity and temperature.

light ivory (approx. RAL 1015)	grey white (approx. RAL 9002)
light blue (approx. RAL 5012)	jet black (approx. RAL 9005)

In addition to the standard shades, most of the colors can be made in the approx. RAL tones. Slight color deviations are due to the coloration of the conductive pigment. Not available are: transparent, white, yellow, louminous and signal colors.
